Deploying a node group

Select a node group from the list.

Select Actions > Review/Deploy.

NOTE:

If all the server nodes in the group are at ready to inventory state, you can use the Review/Deploy action menu to direct deploy a common repository. Do not enable the Review/Deploy action menu if the node group contains localhost or any non-server nodes such as OA, VC, and iLO.
You can use any of the node common set of repositories to do inventory and deploy all the nodes using the Review/Deploy action menu at the same time.

Select the Installation Options you want to deploy.

Select Component verbose log if you want more detailed log files.

Select the Reboot options.

Review and correct if SUM displays any warnings or alerts. SUM does not deploy updates to the group unless you select Ignore Warnings.

Select whether to skip components that report dependency failures or missing component signatures.

In the Baseline Library section, select the components you want to deploy.

Click Deploy.

If you make changes, SUM verifies that there are no dependency errors, and then deploys the components. SUM does not begin deployment until failed dependencies are resolved. Either resolve the dependency, or clear the component.
