Browse HP SUM Server Path: This is a directory or file share that the system running HP SUM can access.

Select the location type Browse HP SUM Server Path.

Enter the directory path to the baseline, or click Browse and use the menu to navigate to the directory.

NOTE: If you are adding an SPP, navigate to the hp/swpackages directory.

|
UNC path (for example \\host\dir): This location uses UNC paths that the system can access.
|
|
|
NOTE: UNC path is only supported in Windows systems.
|

Select the location type UNC path (for example \\host\dir).

In the Enter URI for the baseline field, type the UNC address for the source baseline.

Enter the username.

Enter the password.

NOTE: HP SUM does not support mapped UNC drives.

Select the location type Download from hp.com.

In the Location Details section, click Browse and select an empty directory where you want HP SUM to store the downloaded baseline.

Enter the HP Support Center entitlement token if you want to download content that requires entitlement.

Click Retrieve List.
HP SUM displays the list of baselines you can download. The Baseline Library displays the status of each component in a baseline. If components are missing or the download failed, be sure to remove that component on the Review/Deploy screen. Click Retry Download to attempt to get those missing components.

In the Proxy Settings section, select the Proxy Options:

No Proxy Needed: Use this option if your network settings do not require a proxy server.

Proxy Server: Use this option if your network settings require a proxy server. Add the Address, Port, Username, and Password.

Proxy Script: Use this option if your network settings require a proxy script. Enter the Script, Username, and Password.

Click Retrieve List.

Select the baseline you want to download.

Enter working directory: Enter, or browse to, the directory where you want to save the baseline.

Enter HTTP URL: Enter an HTTP URL where a bundle file is saved. The server can be local or remote, and you can use an Apache, Tomcat, or IIS server. Provide the complete URL, including the bundle XML. The components must reside in the same directory as the bundle XML.

If you want to download components only for specific operating systems, select the operating systems in the OS Filter Options.
