Cause
If you are updating the Smart Array SAS/SATA driver, use the following table to determine which driver HP SUM installs if you select both the HPCISSS2 and HPCISSS3 drivers on the Review/Deploy screen:

HP SUM does not overwrite a HPCISSS3 driver with HPCISSS2, or HPCISSS2 with HPCISSS3. After an update, HP SUM displays that the HPCISSS3 driver overwrote the HPCISSS2 driver, or HPCISSS2 overwrote HPCISSS3. When you relaunch HP SUM, it displays that the driver did not install and is ready to install.
Action
If you want to install a specific driver and HP SUM installs the other driver, perform an update outside of HP SUM to install the selected driver.
