Nodes are hardware environment components. The Nodes screen displays the nodes and associated nodes that you have added to HP SUM and HP SUM can manage. On the Nodes screen, HP SUM displays information about the node, including the following:

The yellow information bar under the node name gives a brief description of the status or action you can perform next on the node. Click the arrow to expand for full details. For example, after you add a node, the status bar might give a link to Inventory the node. Or, after you inventory a node, the status bar will provide a link to review and deploy updates.

Viewing LiveLog information

While HP SUM deploys components, the node screen displays a LiveLog button in the General information section. Click LiveLog to open a window and view the status of the deployment. If HP SUM is deploying multiple components, you can search the list to view the status of specific components. After HP SUM finishes the deployment, HP SUM displays a View Log button.
