Creating an hpsum.ini file

You can create the hpsum.ini file before you launch HP SUM and assign the parameters you want to use. Use a text editor to create the file, and save it in your chosen directory. For more information, see .

  1. Open a text editor and create a new document.

  2. Populate the document with the parameters you want HP SUM to use.

  3. (Optional) Override the HP SUM RPM (Linux-only) default temp directory by creating /opt/hp/hpsum/bin/hpsum.ini.
