Deployment scenarios
SUM deploys updates from the machine running SUM, the localhost, to one or more remote hosts. If the host running SUM uses Windows, you can update Windows, Linux, or VMware nodes. If the host running SUM uses Linux, you can update Linux or VMware nodes. You can also update remote ProLiant, Synergy, Edgeline, and Moonshot systems, and Superdome X Onboard Administrators from Windows or Linux systems.
