Deploying firmware for ProLiant servers using the SPP
The SPP includes components for HPE ProLiant server and enclosures systems, software and firmware.
SUM deploys components to supported Windows, Linux, and VMware operating systems. The single SPP image contains a comprehensive collection of firmware and system software components including drivers, agents, tools, utilities. These components are tested, managed, and deployed together as a single solution.
SUM supports deploying RPM and SCEXE components to Linux nodes.
Each SPP release includes a version of SUM you can use to deploy the SPP components. You can download the latest version of SUM from the SUM website at http://www.hpe.com/servers/sum-download.
